works to support individuals
between the ages of 14 to 65.

The Fence Cares is a not for profit organization based in North York, Ontario, dedicated to educating our local community members on mental health, wellness, personal development and more . We aim to provide resources to our communities that build awareness and capacity.

PROGRAMS
Our programs address our participants’ physical,
emotional and intellectual needs.
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Program
Individuals (children, youth/young adults, older
adults, and seniors) learn and use social,
emotional, and related skills, attitudes, behaviors,
and values that help guide them through our
Social Emotional Learning curriculum. This
encompasses ideas, emotions, and behaviors
that help them achieve academic success.
With our current cohort, we are at
capacity. Please keep an eye out for the next

MORE ABOUT PROGRAMS
Pre-Employment Training Program
This program is set to prepare individuals for
specific job roles by providing them with the
necessary skills, knowledge, and confidence to
succeed in the workplace, often including job
search strategies, workplace culture, and industry-
specific training.
